There are various modes in FIFA 2009. Some favorite modes include Manager Mode and Kick-Off mode. In Kick-Off mode, players can play in different forms of weather, in different stadiums, and at different times. A new download, Ultimate Team Mode for the PS3 and Xbox 360, allows players to buy and sell players in their own team. FIFA has also released an online game expansion. In addition, in Be a Pro mode, there are 4 different seasons. You play as a custom made player or a real world player and try to win games while achieving a set number of passes, goals, or tackles. This adds to the overall game experience making it extra rewarding. There are different tactics involved in the game. Substitutions happen automatically in Be a Pro mode. The game really gets addicting when you customize your player really making him your own. Since, EA has thought of everything if you no longer want to play as one player, you can control the entire team having friends play as different players. The game allows up to 20 players to play at a time. Online features allow you to play with people across the globe when you have no one to play with.
FIFA ’09 is available for the PS2, PS3, PC, PSP, DS, Wii, and xbox360. EA Games spent years working on the new graphics, animations, modes, and teams for FIFA ’09. Despite all this work, FIFA 2009 has some aggravating bugs and easy to use cheats. There is a wide range of cheats online. However, the enhanced game play and constant possession change of the ball really makes up for it giving you a never ending thrill. In the middle of the field battles occur often, where two opposing teams constantly steal the ball from each other in the middle of the field.

It doesn’t matter if you are a soccer enthusiast, video game hobbyist, or, just want to have fun, FIFA 2009 will give you a relaxing and thrilling experience. Playing FIFA is an even more incredible experience then playing soccer with all the increased stats and ease. You can literally catch on in minutes. Given all the new improvements in FIFA 2009, this one is definitely a keeper. Hopefully, we can look forward to newer game play and more challenging matches in the games to come. A better training mode and stat building mode would make up for the harder challenges we all crave. The game is also too addicting. It is unhealthy to play that much. If you do choose to purchase any FIFA game, play with caution. The events in the game are not real and do not affect your life. Sleep loss, starvation, and heart burn have been reported as side effects to over playing FIFA 2009. All jokes aside, FIFA is a great game, especially for sport fans and game collectors. Therefore, it can be said as a fact that FIFA 2009 has revolutionized the realm of all games since its release in late 2008. FIFA 2010 will be even better as we all know now what to expect.
